A Powerball ticket worth $100,000 was sold for Wednesday’s lottery drawing at a convenience store in Salem County. The lucky ticket matching four numbers plus the Powerball was bought at Bridgeton Deepwater Food on South Broadway in the Deepwater section of Pennsville, New Jersey Lottery officials said Thursday.Third-prize tickets are usually worth $50,000 but the New Jersey winner spent an extra $1 to exercise the Power Play option. Worker killed at American Dream mega-mall in New Jersey

By Jeff Goldman | NJ Advance Media for NJ.com A worker was killed at the under-construction American Dream mega-mall in East Rutherford on Wednesday, an official said. The worker was employed by Sentinel Services and the incident took place between 2:30 and 3 p.m., according to an Occupational Safety and Health Administration spokeswoman. The spokeswoman didn’t immediately have information on how the worker died and declined to comment further. Sentinel Services has no previous safety violations. OSHA has six months to complete its investigation. The first phase of long-delayed mall and entertainment complex in the Meadowlands is slated to open Oct. 25.
